5/4/02 - cancel out cancer benefit

this show was tons of fun! unfortunately, we only had three members because it was in camden and parents were scared. the show benefitted the american cancer society, and about $450.00 was raised to be donated. we played better than i thought we would for missing members, but they were sorely missed. we only stuck around for the first few bands, but the bernoilis (sp?), geek van, and son of alf were incredible! thanks to madelynn for setting it up, she did a great job.
11/3/01 - post-halloween fun

infinite thanks to the BPC for putting together this show. it was so much fun...well, except for the hardcore fight mess, but it was still fun! i guess we played okay, although we had some problems with feedback and levels, but it was for a good cause, for the show was recorded! hopefully we'll get the tracks (if they turned out good) soon. fit to fail and BPC played great sets, and much pleasure was had.
10/29/01 - warehouse, reprise

we had a very fun time at this show. we finally got to play with smashed by cars, which when we first started, i never would have thought we would be able to. there was a lot of dancing, and a just plain good time. thanks to everyone who came, and to john for these pics.
9/29/01 - YAY-SH!

every once in a great while, there comes a time in our lives when we don't think that the future can be nearly as good as the past...this is one of them. if we ever have shows again that were as fun as this one, then utopia might not be so far away. the cherry tarts opened and were crazy as usual, i thought we played a pretty good set, son of alf was so incredible, and the BPC played some great new songs, and sounded great as usual...but that was only half of it...the crowd rocked so hard. there's nothing better than a pit going on through your whole set, and that happened for about the whole show. raspberry jamboree put on a theatrical performance after the set which i've heard was hilarious (i was playing magic), and go allan played john's favorite song. thanks to everyone that came. i got an updated count that there was 150 people that were at the show, including band members. it was a great time! thanks to chris egan and emily for the pics.
9/15/01 - show=good

regretfully, our picture-takers were at another show during our set. thankfully, john took a picture for us (take special heed of the singularity of "a")! this was a GREAT show. i felt that we sounded pretty stinking good for us...which might not say much, hahahah. anyway, we had mucho fun, except for when dancing for 5 days ahead, i accidentally kicked the changed bucket for a relief fund to benefit children affected by the WTC bombing (but i picked all of the money up), and also when dancing, i punched their singer in...the jaw? (it was something really hard, that's all i know...sorry, sorry, sorry)...other than those two instances, it was really fun.
8/25/01 - the bunny benefit II!

not only did we rock out sloppy tuna music, we also raised about $300.00 to help save rabbits' lives after their time is up at animal shelters...well, minus about $65.00 for the generator, but that's a different story. i have an update that shawn and jimmy were our only dancers that day. it was so much fun to be there. we had great hangout time with the other bands, and many laughs at luke martin and his head full of spikey balls from trees.
7/24/01 - 4-h fair!

big thanks to erin for getting us on the bill of this show, and for taking these pics. they're kinda shabby b/c it had no flash, but something's better than nothing! the stage was one of the craziest parts of the show. the craziest part was definietly when jacob chased the old lady on a golf cart...i never knew those things could go so fast! anyway, the stage was super-small, and leaning forward hardcore. but, nonetheless, it was a lot of fun!
7/13/01 - the skarnival part I

this show rocked so hard. we probably sounded the best at a show here to date, b/c we had a sound check beforehand. about two weeks before the show, i got an email from the bayside tigers (which i had never heard of before). they were setting up a northeast tour, and needed a place to play in new jersey. i got some mp3's, and they were incredible. i was really excited about this, so luke set up the show with the last-minute help of ete. i'm so happy he did...they are insane. if you missed them, then you stink! actually, i think that they're coming around again soon, so if they do, make sure to be there! i also thank 37 slurp and go real slow for playing on a really short notice after SGR backed out.
7/7/01 - who cares!?

this has to be the coolest venue we've played so far. it's great. thanks to emily for the pics, and ete from go allan for having us play! pay extra close attention to the pics of jacob doing his ritualistic dance that always seems to involve a butt-shot from the camera...emily?! the shows just keep on getting more ridiculously fun and energy filled...i think one of us is going to explode at a show soon. anyway, we sounded terrible (as usual), but i'm sure that it'll be the butt of our jokes (until the next show, where that will become the butt of our jokes). thanks to the great crowd, especially! the whole front was just one huge dance floor...it was great! the only way this could have been better (besides not messing up so much) would have been if ming lok was open still. there's nothing like victory chinese food after a fun show! two thumbs up!
5/27/01 - lock-in show!

cheers to the most spontaneous show ever. we were supposed to go bowling, but when that fell through, we could only hack for so long...but then! a shooting star hit me, and shattered the light bulb that went off in my head. oh well, who needs epiphanies, anyway. then i thought out loud to myself "why don't we play?" everything came together then. as always, thanks to emily for the pics, and this time, her ford taurus wagon as well, as it helped us trasport our equipment. it was a fun show, and i think everyone had a just dandy time!
5/18/01 - the show III!

this was our first show with go allan. we had never heard them before, but they are really great and creative. thanks to emily for the pics...after she found them in her room a few months later! anyway, this show was really fun for us to play (as usual), and i think that everyone had a good time. the pics didn't capture our usual energy, but i think that we were all tired that night, anyway.
5/5/01 - ˇstink fest!
woohoo! a trombone! get down! he's got a gun! i said no hardcore! oh well, you guys are cool anyway. raspberry jamboree! those wonderful mcflys! hello mcfly! alf core!

hallelujah! ˇcinco de stinko! was a large success! much appreciation goes out to all the bands & fans, and to emily for all these great pics. i danced so much before we played our set that i could barely even jump at all when we finally got on. this show was so much fun that it must be ripped off and copied like robotica ripped off robot wars. thanks to all who kept the pit clean (i.e. no excessive hardcore) & nice for all to enjoy! raspberry jamboree's picture is hidden in there somewhere, and the mcflys and son of alf both have a small section. enjoy!
3/17/01 - w/BPC & MPX!

wow... that show was fun! i'd like to take this time to officially thank the BPC for letting us use all of their wonderful equipment. we were extra ghetto that evening in that I used justin's sweet guitar b/c mine broke (but I fixed it...ROK!), luke used "ampy," jon's bass amp b/c his amp broke (but it's okay now...ROK MORE!), joe used nick's set b/c it's sweet, and we didn't feel like setting his up, and lastly, we used their wonderful p.a. moochers?? i think so. as you can tell, the last four pics are of that wonderful band, actually they're mostly of other people's heads, but hey. we love the BPC!
1/26/01 - the show I!

a big thank you to emily, b/c i stole every one of these pics off of her site. we had tons of fun playing, so we hope you enjoyed it too! if you look really close at the guitar pic, you can see a bloody pic guard, black crusty bloody strings, a streak of blood, (eat your heart out dillinger four!) and some excellent band stickers. a shout-out to zach who left with my bloody pic! i just hope you washed it or something.
new year's eve show '00!

these are from our show on new year's eve 2000. this was (i guess) our first real show (if you exclude the birthday party, and the mcflys garage show). thanks to everyone that came and acted like you enjoyed us.
christina's birthday party!

our first show! this was at christina moore's house back when ˇthe banana factor! was just 3 members. it was really scary because their next door neighbor was throwing stuff at us... plus some kid happened to put his scooter under the back tire of my car. after dealing with some white trash kids, i was out 50 smackers because i felt sorry for him.
